Once you've chosen your new server, the window will look like this: Highlight a server close to you but don't worry if it's 1/2 way across the country. Click on the arrow next to the IRC server box. Click on the arrow next to the IRC network box and scroll down until you see DALnet. What you need to do is change the default server to a specific DALnet server. Put anything you want in the "Alternative" box. It makes it easier for others to know who they're talking to when chats get crowded. Fill in the boxes with full name and email (if you don't want to use your full name, just put your LOL handle there.) For your nickname, we advise you to use the same name you use on LOL. Click continue to proceed with the setup. Once you’ve downloaded the file, double click it, and it will install itself. Download the latest version of mIRC at mIRC
